Learning & Development Co-ordinator
This role involves coordinating training for employees on health, safety, environmental and quality systems/procedures, as well as general operational duties. The Learning & Development Co-ordinator will contribute to raising skills and effectiveness levels within the organization.
The role requires working closely with various stakeholders, including the Head of HR, Department Managers, Heads of Sections, Supervisors, and relevant stakeholders on a comprehensive upskilling programme.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct all duties in accordance with company values and best practice standards relating to health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
* Assist Department Managers and Supervisors in identifying training needs.
* Coordinate external training, such as OEM training for equipment and machines, and statutory training like hot works and working at heights.
* Raise skills and effectiveness levels and contribute to ongoing improvement.
* Train employees on procedures, systems and general operational duties.
* Work with the Head of Section/Supervisor to ensure trainees are fully competent post-training.
* Maintain training records and administer necessary training administration using the LMS system.
* Audit the training system monthly and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and identify methods to improve training.
* Perform specific projects related to training as determined by the Head of HR.
* Operational duties may be required occasionally but not when facilitating/coordinating training.
* Responsible for ensuring the training budget is within control with support from Department Heads.
Requirements:
* Training Skills Certificate QQI Level 6 or equivalent (willingness to undertake this accreditation as part of the role).
* Experience operating equipment and understanding production demands.
* Effective communication and influencing skills.
* People coaching skills - motivating and maintaining standards.
* Good organisational, planning and time management skills.
* Desire for creativity and innovation.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm. Some international travel may be involved.
