Job Title: Person in Charge (PIC) / Centre Manager
The Person in Charge (PIC) / Centre Manager will be responsible for the operational and regulatory management of the assisted living service, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and delivering the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Delivery & Service User Well-being: Assist with the introduction of this new service to Trinity Care. Oversee the provision of person-centred care, ensuring service users individual needs and preferences are met. Promote service user independence, dignity, and inclusion within the community.
* Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations, relevant policies, and statutory requirements. Lead on HIQA inspections, preparing and implementing action plans where necessary. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain service excellence.
* Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of care and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence. Ensure staff are trained, competent, and continuously developing in intellectual disability care best practices.
* Financial & Resource Management: Manage the budget and financial planning for the centre, ensuring cost-effective service delivery. Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources.
* Stakeholder & Family Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with service users families, external agencies, and community organisations. Ensure effective communication with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Requirements:
* Essential Qualifications & Experience: Level 8 degree in Social Care, Disability Studies, or a related field. 3 years of management experience in an intellectual disability, healthcare, or social care setting.
* Desirable Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
