Job Description:
Flexsource is currently recruiting a Rigid Driver for our client, a distributor of the highest quality fresh and frozen poultry and other chilled and frozen goods to the foodservice industry in Ireland, based in Athenry, Co. Galway. Join their expanding team in their distribution depots.
Job Title: Rigid Driver
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily vehicle and paperwork check before and after leaving the site
* Delivering/collecting products on pallets/trolleys to customers
* Liaising with customers in a polite and friendly manner
* Loading and unloading company vehicles safely
* Working as part of a team and on own initiative
* Ad hoc duties as required
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 months C license driving experience is essential
* Digital tachograph card is essential
* Full clean license is required
* CPC Card PLUS New CPC Module completed
* Manual handling is an advantage, but training can be provided
Hours:
* Monday-Saturday (40 hours per week)
* Early start times around 5 am
Pay:
* €17.50 per hour
* €26.25 p/h - 1.5 OT available after 40 hours per week
* Plus meal allowance of €15.00 per day
