Process Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Process Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Veolia Ireland. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for the commissioning and testing of water treatment equipment at municipal and industrial levels.
You will work closely with our engineering team to design and implement effective treatment processes, handle chemicals and high-pressure systems safely, and conduct instrumentation analysis and calibrations.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for:
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Deciding on treatment process design and recommending solutions to engineering problems
* Carrying out laboratory analysis and jar testing
* Proposing and adjusting chemical dose rates to optimize the process for successful performance testing
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum of 2 years of field or applied research laboratory experience in chemical processes
* Good understanding of water treatment and wastewater treatment processes
* Proficiency with PLC and SCADA systems
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, have good analytical skills, and be able to make decisions under stress or specific working conditions. You will also need to be available to travel up to 100% of the time and hold a full clean driving license and own transport.
