About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to contribute to the day-to-day running of our business, oversee operational activity and help create a productive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the construction sector, preferably with experience in residential or social housing. The role requires a fast-paced individual who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across all levels of the business, and think creatively.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with Directors to inform operational decisions and set strategic goals.
* Plan, monitor and evaluate the efficiency of business procedures to meet organisational objectives.
* Develop and implement policies, and manage relationships with external partners.
* Oversee trades and labour on site, ensuring smooth progress and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
* 5+ years' relevant experience in operations management within the construction sector.
* Desirable: experience within the Social Housing sector.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and ambiguous problems.
* Effective communication skills, with ability to act as a team player and take initiative.
