Fibre Programme Manager Role Overview
This permanent position offers a hybrid working model based in the North Kildare area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project goals are met on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Project Delivery:
Manage all aspects of FTTx projects, including schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Ensure timely completion, resource allocation, and effective risk management.
* Team Leadership:
Lead field teams, focusing on recruiting, training, and motivating team members to achieve high performance standards.
* Customer Engagement:
Serve as the main customer contact, managing expectations, delivering regular updates, and maintaining strong relationships.
* Risk Management:
Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks as necessary to ensure the project stays on track.
* Data Management:
Track progress, maintain accurate reports, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to customers.
* Continuous Improvement:
Document lessons learned and suggest efficiency improvements to enhance future project delivery.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in project management and programme delivery for FTTx rollouts.
* A proven track record in telecom projects, such as cabling and splicing.
* Experience in people management and leadership.
* Familiarity with GIS software (QGIS/ArcGIS) is an advantage.
* A background in telecoms or engineering is preferred.
