About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's team. As an established organisation with a strong record of building high-quality commercial and residential projects, we require someone who can effectively manage the finance function.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the finance function.
* Review and improve financial systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Develop accurate project costing and margin analysis to inform business decisions.
* Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly management accounts, including commentary and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Oversee working-in-progress (WIP) and fixed asset management.
* Manage statutory and year-end close processes.
* Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

* Proven experience within the construction sector.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
