Our client is a family-run Irish retailer founded in Galway, operating nationwide with a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland.
The company employs over 380 people and has experienced significant growth, leading to the creation of this new role.
Job Responsibilities:
* Complete Month End Reconciliations for Bank, Credit Card payments and suppliers.
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register for multiple companies.
* Prepare Month End journals.
* Complete Intercompany Reconciliations.
* Liaise with Internal Stakeholders on various queries.
* Prepare CSO and other statutory reporting requirements.
* Assist with Monthly Management Accounts preparation along with Month End and Quarter End reporting.
* Assist with preparation of Year End audit.
* Prepare VAT, Vies and Intrastat reports when due by Revenue.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant preferred.
* Experience in using accounting software.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Good interpersonal skills.
