We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team at Farnham Estate. The role of our Restaurant Manager is to oversee our Maxwell's Restaurant & Cedar Rooms staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations while providing efficient, prompt, trouble-free, courteous, and quality food & beverage service to our guests.

Role/Responsibilities:
1. Manage all activities of both Maxwell's Restaurant & Cedar's Steakhouse
2. Achieve Restaurant goals by executing marketing and sales strategies
3. Manage staff performance, carry out performance and probation reviews
4. Manage systems in line with forecasting on a day-to-day basis and in advance
5. Identify talent within the Restaurant team for progression
6. Motivate and influence the Restaurant team in a professional manner
7. Develop and maintain a relationship between other Departments within the Hotel to ensure operational excellence and smooth running
8. Develop and maintain a professional relationship between other Head of Departments
9. Manage and lead the health and safety of the Department
10. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to Waitstaff and Supervisors
11. Work alongside the Executive Head Chef and other staff members to implement and style menus and specials
12. Manage the communication from management to staff in the Department
13. Attend Management meetings when required
14. Manage and control staffing budgets
15. Manage and control costs and stock
16. Carry out Duty manager shifts
17. Perform additional ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
1. Have 2+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager
2. Experience managing 600+ covers per day (including Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
3. Previous experience working in a 4 or 5* Restaurant
4. Previous experience managing a large diverse team
