Hotel Talent are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group General Manager to oversee the operations and strategic direction of this hotel business.
This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the hotels operate efficiently, supporting the General Managers, driving financial performance, and implementing long-term strategies to future-proof the business.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Business Development Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the long-term success and growth of the hotels.
Work closely with the General Managers to align business objectives and enhance overall performance.
Identify market trends and opportunities to drive revenue, improve guest experience, and maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee branding, marketing, and positioning strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Operational Support & Performance Management Provide hands-on support and mentorship to the General Managers, ensuring operational excellence across properties.
Ensure that the business meets key performance indicators (KPIs) related to guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of excellence, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained across all departments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes to enhance productivity and profitability.
Financial Oversight & Profitability Manage the overall financial performance of the hotels, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with business goals.
Monitor revenue streams and implement strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates.
Control costs across all departments, with a particular focus on labor management, procurement, and operational efficiencies.
Future-Proofing the Business Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the long-term sustainability of the business.
Drive digital transformation and operational automation where applicable.
Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring investments align with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability initiatives, and evolving market demands.
Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a General Manager or Group/Regional/Cluster General Manager within the hotel industry in Ireland.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing multiple properties or large-scale hotel operations.
Extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze P&L reports, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
Exceptional communication and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Commercially astute with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Experience working with hotel management systems, financial reporting tools, and operational software.
