Long-term Contract Position
ENG Bauen is working closely with a leading pharmaceutical organisation to offer an opportunity for a Senior Project Buyer to join a global pharmaceutical company executing a multimillion-euro program in Ireland. In this role, you will be a key member of the commercial team, responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for large-scale, high-value projects ranging between €20M - €150M.

As a Senior Project Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring procurement activities are managed efficiently, delivering critical project requirements on time and within budget.
This position is ideal for an experienced senior buyer with a strong background in commercial procurement within the pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors, looking to secure a long-term contract with a leading global organisation.
The Role:
* Lead procurement activities for the successful delivery of large-scale capital projects.
* Manage the purchase of materials, goods, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
* Collaborate closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met within budget and schedule.
* Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental standards throughout the procurement process.
* Contribute to the development and execution of procurement plans and strategies for the project.
The Person:
* Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager for CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to manage procurement activities on operational client sites.
* Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle, contract management, and supplier relationships.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment and lead a team effectively.
