As a Lead Analyst FP&A, you will support management with ensuring the delivery of the monthly financial performance to senior management, ExCo, and Board, along with preparing the Bank's multi-year financial plan.
You will have a unique opportunity to develop a level of subject matter expertise, play an integral role in the Bank's key strategic priorities, and have significant exposure to senior management. The candidate will be given the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of many key facets of PTSB, including its legal structure, product offerings, functional teams, and balance sheet.
Responsibilities:
* Review monthly actual versus budgeted performance.
* Assist with the preparation of financial presentations for senior management, ExCo & Board.
* Contribute to the maintenance and continual improvement of the Anaplan budgeting and forecasting tool.
* Contribute to the financial analysis of proposed commercial strategies, preparation of sensitivity analysis, and evaluation of strategic considerations.
* Contribute to the team's role in driving and improving the quality of financial analysis provided to senior management.
* Develop cross-functional relationships to maintain and improve the flow of key information, ensuring the delivery of on-time and internally consistent data.
* Support senior management on an ad hoc basis.
* Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets & multi-year financial forecasts.
Requirements:
* Holder of a relevant professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
* Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills.
* Sound commercial acumen.
* Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
* Customer outcome focus and effective partner management.
* A clear focus on quality and efficiency.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is a permanent position based in Ireland. (Hybrid options available within the Republic of Ireland)
