Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate Setting Out: Use modern equipment like Total Station and GPS for precise setting out of foundations, slabs, walls, and other structural components.
2. Project Delivery: Assist site management in delivering the project according to program schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
3. Drawings & Plans: Interpret and ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and design plans.
4. Quality Control: Monitor and record quality control checks for all site activities, ensuring compliance with industry and project standards.
5. Coordination: Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, architects, and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
6. Health & Safety: Adhere to and enforce all health and safety policies on-site.
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience as a Setting Out Engineer in residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD and modern surveying equipment (e.g., Leica or Trimble Total Station).
• Strong understanding of building regulations, construction standards, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
