Facilities Project Engineer - HVAC - Limerick, Ireland - 12-Month Contract
Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the Country. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work via Quanta on the client’s side for a global Pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in the picturesque Munster region of Ireland.
Located just 20 minutes from the nearest international airport, the manufacturing site is workable for those wishing to commute to/from Ireland for a contract position. You will be required on site for 5 days per week Monday – Friday working 45 hours.
Role Summary:
1. Designs and specifies cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment,
piping, ducting and/or controls.
2. Manages small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities & HVAC equipment & services.
3. Conducts troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.
4. Assists in the design review, site acceptance and installation of equipment.
5. Supports QA Validation department by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution.
6. Assists in investigations of utility systems, and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents.
7. Implements corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.
8. Prepares engineering evaluations and test plans for and executes.
modification change control documentation.
9. Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams and
specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.
10. May supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.
11. Maintains a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.
12. Maintains company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
Must Have’s to successfully fill this position:
13. Requires Level 8 or higher in Mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in engineering preferred.
14. Direct experience with Utilities systems (clean / grey) & HVAC is preferred.
