Job Title: Part-time Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team as a part-time Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial, accounting and reporting activities of the Irish Region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Present a Statement of Financial Activities and Balance Sheet on a quarterly basis to the Trustees.
* Budget Preparation: Prepare Provincial Budgets and lead budget preparation for each house with the accounts staff.
* Audits and Reviews: Arrange and co-ordinate the required annual reviews/audits of the various Region entities and registered bodies.
* Investment Management: Manage the investment portfolio and advise the Trustees on investment matters.
* Cash Flow Management: Maintain oversight of cash flow and funding/grant reporting.
* Risk Management: Ensure effective risk management to address financial and operational risks.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and administration, ideally within the charity or public sector
* Strong understanding of charity finance regulations
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work collaboratively
