My candidate in the life science industry is looking to recruit a customer service specialist in their offices in City West working on a hybrid model after training is completed.
This position is responsible for managing customer requests for quotes, part builds, and order fulfilment, including pertinent status updates and proactive communications necessary to meet the customer’s use or production needs. Actively promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings.
Experience Required
Essential:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
2. Experience with Customer Relationship Management software, ideally SalesForce
3. Minimum 2 years working in Customer service/administration position in manufacturing industry.
Desirable:
1. Familiarity with production operations (moulding, extrusion, packaging, and assembly)
2. Capable of reading and understanding blueprints and part drawings
3. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Software, ideally QAD
4. Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical industry
