Team Overview:
The E-Commerce Program Transformation Team is a new function established within the commercial function of the Pharma organization. Our mission is to deliver exceptional value in healthcare e-commerce by expertly managing large-scale transformation programs.
We aim to identify growth opportunities, optimize top-of-funnel strategies, and streamline internal operations, ensuring efficient, effective, and scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business success.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead and support e-commerce transformation initiatives within our organization from the Growth & Strategy Design team.
This role will be pivotal in driving digital innovation, enhancing customer experiences, and optimizing e-commerce processes.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working in large multinational organizations and will play a key role in translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Strategy Development: Work with the Digital Strategy Manager to devise short-term & long-term strategies that focus on the growth of e-commerce business and enhance the customer experience Collaborate with business leaders to define and refine e-commerce product enhancement initiatives that align with organizational goals Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
2. Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, elicit, document, and prioritize business, user & product requirements Translate customer anecdotes, competitive insights, and business needs into product enhancement opportunities through comprehensive and articulate business cases/business brief documents
3. Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage data analytics to evaluate the performance of e-commerce platforms and marketing campaigns Develop & deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights into both technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide actionable insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement Track KPIs, business performance metrics, and trends over time ensuring that leadership has the data needed to make informed decisions
4. Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to existing data acquisition & distribution processes, platforms, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and our ability to listen to the voice of our customers
5. Initiative Leadership & Delivery: Own the end-to-end scope of a strategic initiative by advocating for change and acting as a liaison between business units Product & IT teams, and operations to ensure alignment and successful delivery Partner with the program teams to monitor initiative progress resolve issues, and provide updates to stakeholders Support organizational change management teams in preparing documentation and in conducting user training sessions
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in business analytics, Information Technology, or a related field Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
* Experience: 5-8 years of experience in business/data analysis, with at least 2 years focused on e-commerce transformation in the technology or pharmaceutical industries preferred Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex e-commerce projects preferably in global or highly regulated environments Experienced in identifying opportunities for product enhancement through data trends or health metrics, and committed to perform relevant research & analytics to build a convincing business case(s)
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning tools preferably in e-commerce platforms Strong understanding of tech/e-commerce products for e.g. APIs integrations, and digital marketing tools etc. Proficiency in Microsoft suite tools especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
