Main Purpose of the Role
Ensure the Grocery Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times, providing excellent quality products and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

* Communicate operating standards to employees and ensure they understand and implement them at all times.
* Drive sales through in-store initiatives.
* Maintain a high standard of merchandise and presentation in the department, adhering to store planograms and guidelines.
* Adhere to weekly stocktaking and daily waste procedures in the Grocery Department.
* Liaise with the management team to achieve weekly gross profit, net profit, and sales targets.
* Conduct quality and freshness checks.
* Attend relevant training as required and implement learnings in-store.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year experience in a management position.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong delegation skills.
* Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
* Understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets.
* Commercial awareness and brand understanding.
* PASSION FOR GROCERY RETAIL.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
