About the Role:
The CFO will drive financial discipline and strategic growth in line with our 3 X10 X journey, focusing on commercial rigor, cost control, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Collaboration: Act as a key decision-maker and thought leader, building strong relationships and influencing business strategy.
* Commercial Rigor & Strategic Financial Planning: Drive strategic financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Cost Control & Financial Performance: Lead the implementation of dynamic cost control measures, discipline, and rigor that adapt to changing business environments and operational efficiency.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Support key business decisions with robust financial modelling and forecasting.
* Financial Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks within the control environment.
* KPI Alignment & Business Performance: Continuously evaluate performance metrics and recommend adjustments to optimize business outcomes.
* Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to align strategic goals and ensure business continuity, transformation, and financial management efficiency.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
* Professional qualifications such as ACA, FCA, ACCA, FCCA, CIMA, or CPA.
* Typically 10+ years of progressively senior financial management experience.
* Experience in M&A, fundraising, and investor relations can be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of Irish and EU financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
* Familiarity with FRS and GAAP.
