Job Responsibilities
* Oversee daily construction operations to ensure they align with project specifications, plans, and timelines.
* Work with subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel to manage work schedules and productivity.
* Communicate and collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to address any site-related challenges.
Technical and Quality Control
* Interpret and apply technical drawings, plans, and project specifications for accurate execution on-site.
* Conduct site surveys and use setting out equipment to ensure precise alignment and measurements.
* Perform quality checks, ensuring that construction activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Health & Safety Compliance
* Enforce compliance with Irish health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments as needed.
* Promote a culture of safety among all site workers, implementing safety measures to mitigate risks and hazards.
Project Documentation and Reporting
* Record and manage site activities, including daily logs, site diaries, and progress reports.
* Support accurate resource tracking, including labor, materials, and equipment, for efficient cost management.
* Attend regular project meetings to provide updates and insights on site progress, challenges, and solutions.
Resource and Material Management
* Monitor and manage on-site resources to ensure project timelines are met without disruption.
* Work closely with procurement and logistics to secure materials and equipment as required for the site.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field.

* Proficient in surveying and setting out techniques, knowledge of CAD, project management software, and MS Office suite.
* Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and any other necessary site safety certifications.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
