Overall Role Objective
We have an exciting opportunity for a EHS Systems Manager to join Suir Engineering and be based in either our Citywest or Waterford office. The EHS Systems Manager is primarily responsible for providing guidance and leadership in the successful development, implementation, continuous improvement and management of all Suir Engineering’s EHS Systems and Programmes.

What you will be doing
1. Take ownership of all EHS information in the Suir Engineering Integrated Management System, ensuring that all policies and procedures are effectively maintained.
2. Design, implement and lead EHS improvements as per the EHS Department business plan and ensure they are effectively rolled out through the change management process and monitored.
3. Assist in developing and progressing the Suir Safe Behaviourally Based Safety Programme.
4. Participate in developing and implementing EHS modules and standards with other departments such as Sustainability, HR, Digital Team etc.
5. Conduct EHS due diligence in each country to ensure we are legally compliant with local legislation.
6. Assist the Regional EHS Managers with the development of project pre-mobilisation documentation such as project specific Management Plans.
Is the job for me
1. Relevant Health and Safety Qualification.
2. 2 – 5 years’ experience in an EHS Advisory role.
3. Experience in developing EHS procedures and initiatives.
4. Ability to work on own initiative, challenge and influence.
5. Team player and able to build and maintain relationships.
6. Competent with the use of MS Office software.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
