Centrotherm is seeking a dynamic and driven Customer Operations Manager to lead and optimize our sales operations processes. As a key member of our sales department, you will collaborate closely with various teams including customers, sales, operations, customer service, and finance to enhance sales efficiency and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Job Duties:
* Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine sales strategies and objectives, utilizing insights from market trends, customer feedback, and competitor data.
* Evaluate and streamline sales processes, implementing best practices in lead generation, qualification, and conversion to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Monitor and enhance the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ensure accurate sales data management.
* Analyze sales data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities, generating reports and dashboards to provide insights for improving sales performance.
* Develop and maintain sales forecasting models to assist in resource allocation and planning, collaborating with internal teams for accurate revenue forecasting.
* Manage sales due dates, and optimize the sales team's efficiency and customer expectations, ensuring seamless scheduling and communication.
* Provide training and support to the sales team, including coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge, as well as assisting in onboarding new sales representatives.
* Administer and manage inside sales team compensation plans and incentives, aligning them with company goals to motivate the sales team.
* Oversee the selection and implementation of sales technology tools, ensuring effective utilization by sales team members.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, finance, and other departments to align and synergize sales-related activities, incorporating input and insights to improve sales strategies.
* Monitor and report on sales team performance against targets and objectives, addressing performance issues through coaching and support.
Requirements
Experience and Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Over 3 years of experience in a Customer Operations Manager role or similar, preferably within the plumbing/HVAC or Manufacturing industry.
* Proficiency in data analysis with a strong skill set in Excel, data analytics, visualization, and reporting.
* Experience in pricing, profit and loss (P&L) dynamics, and familiarity with sales compensation plans and incentives.
* Strong business acumen and a track record of supporting sales organizations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with adeptness in building presentations.
* Strategic thinker capable of translating technical requirements/issues into a business context and vice versa.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and strong project management skills.
* CRM experience required; familiarity with MS Dynamics preferred.
* Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
* Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
