Our client is seeking a skilled Communications Project Officer to join their team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing awareness of the organisation and promoting children's rights. Key responsibilities include:
* Working on specific communications projects to grow national awareness of the organisation, including the School Ambassadors Programme, supporting Child Talks and other events, and launches.
* SUPPORTING THE PLANNING OF PRESENCE AT BT YOUNG SCIENTIST AND OTHER NATIONAL EVENTS
* Content creation and editing with the support of your line manager.
* M Monitoring news and current affairs programmes and providing news updates and summaries.
* Supporting the Communications teams with administration tasks, including purchase orders, project plans, updating contact lists, and managing numerous email inboxes.
* Coordinating with suppliers on merchandise, catering for events, and any other ad-hoc event management tasks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A qualification of at least a Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Journalism, Multi Media/Communications, or related discipline, project management, or administration.
* Demonstrate at least 2 years' relevant experience working in this area.
* Experience of using and updating social media platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
