Job Description
The Risk Analyst plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of the Infrastructure Risk Management Strategy at a Programme level. This involves ensuring the effective deployment of consistent risk management tools, techniques, processes, and standards across Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the implementation of consistent risk management tools and techniques, processes, and standards, aligned with the Contracting Entity's policies and procedures, as well as industry best practice.
* Apply advanced knowledge in risk management to analyze and resolve issues within projects and programmes frameworks, incorporating benchmarking against best practice and innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with the delivery team to develop robust risk management, mitigation, and contingency strategies, escalating significant risks using agreed governance mechanisms.
Risk Management Activities
* Support programme teams in carrying out Quantified Risk Assessments (QRA) and assessing risk apportionment in commercial contracts and procurements related to programme delivery.
* Develop a risk reporting platform to support management reporting across the Programme and tracking of mitigation actions.
* Lead risk workshops, risk assessment processes, and risk register reviews with key stakeholders.
Requirements
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management across Infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity, preferably within aviation.
* In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing risk management strategies and process improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience in risk workshop facilitation with project teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
* Quantitative risk analysis expertise to model risk, schedule, and cost in an integrated manner.
* Strong understanding of EU and Irish legislation, law, and best practice in relation to risk management.
* Familiarity with project governance and construction procurement processes.
