Occupational Health Nurse Our client, Medwise, an Occupational Health practice based in Naas, is seeking to recruit a part-time Occupational Health Nurse to be mainly based in their clinic in Naas. The Role The role is ideally suited to a Practice Nurse, who would ideally have a certificate in Occupational Health, and who would like to work and develop their career in a specialist Occupational Health role. About the Company Medwise provides specialist occupational health services and health surveillance to employers, It is a dynamic practice with a wide range of services for employers nationwide. Medwise employs occupational health physicians, nurses, and technicians who are supported by an administration team. Services are provided at its clinics in Naas and Swords, and on-site with customers through its mobile medical unit. The company is an SEQOHS accredited business and uses state of the art medical systems and equipment. Person RequiredThe ideal candidate will be a Registered General nurse who is working as a Practice Nurse with a strong interest in developing their career in Occupational Health.The person will ideally have a certificate in Occupational Health or wish to develop a career in Occupational Health in a specialist Occupational Health Practice.Training will be provided in the clinic on its equipment, processes and systems.Other requirements include: Interpersonal and intrapersonal skills for working will a variety of people (clients, patients, OHPs, OH Nurses, Medical Technicians and Admin Staff )Ability to work to a daily appointment scheduleQuick to learn the company systems and standardsGood computer / IT skills (MS Office Suite and Medbase) Training and mentoring will be provided by the Medical Director and Acting OH Nurse & Clinic Manager. Contract Duration and Hours This is a permanent position. The role is part-time, 2 -3 days per week.Location At the clinic in Naas primarily and occasional on-sites at customers premises or at Medwise Swords.
