Job Summary
Nua Healthcare Services (Nua) is one of Ireland's leading Private Healthcare Providers, specialising in Residential and Supported Living Services to both Children and Adults with complex support needs.
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals for the above positions. The successful candidate will receive all necessary training and development in line with the role.
Candidates must be highly motivated and creative, with a passion for engaging with Service Users on a daily basis. They will contribute to enriching the lives of our Service Users.
Job Objectives
The Role of a Social Care Worker and Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who use our services.
We will support you in developing your skills and providing high-quality care, maintaining professional working relationships with our team members and service users.
This includes:
* Supporting people with their daily plans
* Supporting people while they are in the community
* Supporting people with their education, skills development, and achieving personal outcomes
* Supporting people with their living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and family visits
You will be familiar with and adhere to all Company policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice insofar as is reasonable and practicable.
You may be required to work shifts over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Skills Requirement
Assistant Support Worker: No qualification required (all necessary training provided)
Social Care Workers: Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline Relevant life experience is desirable but not essential.
A good attitude to work and a passion for supporting people are essential requirements.
A full driver's license is required or in the process of achieving a full driver's license.
