Contemporary Dublin four star with hi-tech event space opening in 2025 seeks C&B Sales Manager
Exciting role for a seasoned, proactive hotel sales professional at this modern Dublin four star property with hi-tech event space opening in Spring 2025. The C&B Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the hotel’s products and services by expanding contacts and forging relationships with prospective clients, both B2B and B2C.
Key responsibilities:
1. Maintain and execute a live prospecting list of potential new business across all market segments including MICE, Corporate & Leisure via weekly cold calls.
2. Meet sales KPI’s whilst developing cold calls into warm leads with a follow up appointment.
3. Proactively use business intelligence tools provided to support prospecting activities.
4. Provide weekly and monthly reporting on sales activity, KPI updates and customer feedback as required by the Sales Manager.
5. Engage with all company sales tools and training, embracing company ethos.
6. Conduct site inspections / fam trips / client entertainment as required – this could also include evening and weekend work.
7. Contribute to the overall marketshare KPI as set out in the annual budget and commercial plan.
8. Deliver outstanding customer service.
9. Maintain solid relationships with new and existing customers through dedicated account management.
10. Attendance at domestic and international industry events and trade shows.
11. Ensure full collaboration with other key stakeholders and an active contribution to the annual commercial plan.
12. Develop strong partnerships with organisations local to the property to further increase brand/product awareness.
The ideal candidate:
1. Minimum of two years’ experience as Corporate / MICE Sales Manager within the Dublin market.
2. Ability to demonstrate creativity in delivering sales activity essential.
3. Prospecting skills (cold call and face to face).
4. Ability to report and communicate at all levels.
5. Excellent presentation skills desirable.
6. High level of English required.
7. Basic negotiation skills advantageous.
