Temple Legal Protection Ireland is seeking a motivated professional to join our Dublin based underwriting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your career in litigation costs insurance, working closely with our Solicitor and Underwriting Director for Ireland/EU.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate Civil, Commercial, Personal Injury, and Medical Negligence cases for litigation costs insurance.
2. Collaborate with solicitor clients to manage insured cases effectively.
3. Develop underwriting skills, managing risk in line with company guidelines.
4. Foster strong relationships with solicitor firms across Ireland, driving new business opportunities.
5. Represent the company at legal conferences, promoting our legal costs insurance products.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum 1 year PQE (if from a Solicitor/Barrister background) or 2 years of underwriting experience in a common law jurisdiction.
2. Strong organisational and case management skills, with the ability to prioritise.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
4. Experience in business development and public speaking is a plus.
