Job Summary
The Lyrath Estate, a renowned 5-star hotel in Kilkenny, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager to join its leadership team.

* Support the General Manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel.
* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient service across all departments.
* Maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring a luxury experience that exceeds expectations.
* Lead and develop department managers and their teams, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Drive revenue growth and cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Manage and resolve any operational issues, guest feedback, or escalated complaints effectively.
* Work closely with the sales and marketing team to enhance brand positioning and guest engagement.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in senior hotel management, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star luxury property.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to drive operational excellence and financial performance.
* A hands-on, guest-focused approach with exceptional problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to implement strategic initiatives.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
