Our client, a manufacturing company based in Co. Westmeath, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their finance skills.
The Accounts Receivable Assistant will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will be an integral member of the team.
This is a permanent position, working Monday-Friday.
Your New Job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Support the Finance Office Manager in various accounting tasks, including raising invoices and issuing payment claims to customers.
* Oversee credit control, monitor daily communications, and respond to queries promptly.
* Update and maintain databases with accurate and relevant information.
* Prepare debtors' reports and handle Intrasat & VIES Revenue reporting for compliance.
* Conduct departmental reconciliations, update procedural documentation (SOPs), and attend weekly finance meetings.
What are we looking for?
* ATI Diploma or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong accounting and numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Sage 50.
* Skilled in account reconciliations and accounts receivable, including debt collection.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with suppliers.
* Strong experience in AR is essential.
