Description:
Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with an excellent local company with an international presence, based in Monaghan, that is currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their busy Finance team.

The Role:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Prep of Statutory accounts basis and liaison with external auditors and also to partner cross-functionally with internal teams
Interpret data and assess the key findings, being able to present them to key stakeholders
Delivering Reporting on a monthly basis to a high standard
Manage Payroll Activities, including P11Ds, Life Assurance and all relevant returns
Ensure compliance with policies and reporting timeframes both internally and externally
Contribute to monthly closing tasks for debtor accounts, as well as support customer-facing teams.
Ensure delivery of month-end close
The Person:
Strong Excel skills and at least 3yrs PQE
Accounting qualification ideal (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, R&D and Supply Chain
Exceptional knowledge of ERP Systems
Ability to handle a high volume of work, demonstrating excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
Aptitude for building relationships, influencing upwards and laterally, taking ownership of tasks, and keeping colleagues informed of progress.
Knowledge of accounting software
Understanding of taxation
High level of commercial acumen
Previous experience in a FMCG or manufacturing environment
