Who are we looking for?
State Street Alpha Service product team is seeking a versatile individual for an Assistant Vice President role with strong skills in product development, product life cycle management, client relationships, and business analysis. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting services and product offerings within the Account Onboarding and account life cycle management area. The qualified candidate will develop and deliver products, business solutions, and strategies aligned with our Alpha Account onboarding and data integrations with downstream consumers. This leader will focus on driving front, middle, and back-office service innovations that support and streamline end-to-end integration, servicing, and interoperability for our Alpha clients.

The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models for our Alpha Clients, with a focus on post-trade execution lifecycle products and services. They will also drive strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services, while managing program/project execution and reporting.
What you will be responsible for?
1. Establish strong partnerships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations, Technology, and other product teams within State Street to influence and coordinate cross-functional business solutions and products, in support of client and business goals.
2. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to support product demand opportunities as part of product strategy and development.
3. Design, develop, and implement client-facing products.
4. Drive analysis and design using Agile practices and processes, focusing on establishing a culture and process of continuous delivery.
5. Possess strong knowledge of front-to-back Investment management/Investment services processes and various asset classes.
6. Work with business and technology partners to establish clear connections between business goals, strategies, and the data and technology investments required to achieve them.
7. Gather business/system requirements by facilitating user/client meetings and engaging with stakeholders.
8. Demonstrate strong industry and regulatory experience, including complex business processes and best practices across the transaction lifecycle.
9. Identify, compile, analyze, and document business requirements that accurately and thoroughly reflect business needs and changes.
10. Document business requirements using clear, concise language consistent with the methodology framework.
11. Participate in special projects, e.g., conducting research, collecting, and providing requested data, etc.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
12. Minimum BS/BA degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
13. 7++ years of industry experience with Front, Middle, and Back Office functionality.
14. - Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple organizations to reach common goals. - Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools.
15. Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) concepts and tools (e.g., Kryon, ARIS).
16. Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
