JOB DESCRIPTION
Gael Linn welcomes applications for the above role. The person appointed will be responsible for managing human resources with support from an external third party.
Developing Human Resources Strategies: Aligning Human Resources initiatives with organizational goals.
Employee Relations: Fostering positive relationships, effective communication, handling complaints, conflicts and disciplinary actions.
Recruitment: Overseeing the recruitment process to attract and hire the most suitable people.
Team Development: Support the team through participation, motivation and development initiatives.
Human Resource Systems: Develop and monitor Human Resource strategies, systems and procedures with external support.
Performance Management: Implement appraisal systems, provide feedback, and support performance improvement plans.
Positive Work Environment: Fostering a nurturing, positive and supportive workplace.
Training and Development: Identify training needs, design programs, and facilitate employee growth.
Criteria:
Experience: Experience dealing with Human Resources or equivalent work experience, supporting colleagues, managing performance and identifying/implementing solutions.
People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a people-oriented mindset.
Language Skills: Spoken and written Irish would be ideal but open to discussion for the right person with a willingness to learn.
Training Ability: Ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
Communication: Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Relationship Management: Proficiency in relationship management at all organizational levels.
Human Resources: Experience/awareness of employment laws and HR best practices is desirable.
Education: 3rd level degree or equivalent of practical experience.

The role will be based in Gael Linn, 35 Dame Street, Dublin 2. There will be flexibility in relation to hybrid work.
Salary will be determined based on experience, skills and suitability for the role.
