The Amazon Expansion technology team is looking for talented, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join the team who can own the project end-to-end testing process. We engage QAEs at the beginning of the project to understand business requirements and technical implementation and test code at the user level both manually or with automated tools.
AEE (Amazon Exports & Expansion) Tech builds and tests technology that brings Amazon's footprint to new countries by offering Best-At-Amazon with undeniable delivery experience, selection, and convenience localized for our customers. We enable Amazon to new international marketplaces and give an opportunity for consumers in new geographies to find, discover, and buy anything online and for local and international sellers to choose Amazon as an indispensable channel for their products. Key Job Responsibilities
1. Define and create test strategy, write test plans, and design test cases.
2. Implement best practices, including a variety of different testing protocols, tools, and metrics.
3. Help define and contribute to improve the Quality Assurance process.
4. Work closely with multiple stakeholders (Tech & PMs) to assure test coverage.
5. Promote QA productivity & efficiency through automation, tools, and other best practices.
6. Assist in building tools and frameworks for automated testing.
7. Work with remote teams across different timezones to enable delivery of test artifacts.
8. Execute functional, regression tests, performance, and stress testing.
9. Contribute to test automation.
Minimum Requirements
1. 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
2. Experience in automation testing.
3. Experience in manual testing.
4. Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation.
5. Experience in API & Mobile testing.
6. Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
