**Assistant Technical Manager**
Vickerstock is working in partnership with our dynamic agri-food client to find a talented professional for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Technical Manager in upholding and enhancing quality standards across TFMS, BRC, and other relevant systems.
* Act as a central point of contact for quality and production teams, offering support on quality and technical-related challenges.
* Lead initiatives to drive improvements in plant-wide Quality and HACCP systems.
* Oversee supplier non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and provide comprehensive reports.
* Manage the efficient operation of Quality and HACCP systems within the department, ensuring continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field (Food science, Quality management) or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the food industry.
* Comprehensive understanding of Quality Standards, HACCP (Certified to Level 3 Minimum), and food safety regulations.
* Desirable: Experience in Plant Based, Vegan and Vegetarian Product manufacture, High-Risk Production Requirements, Chilled and/or Frozen Production, Train the Trainer Qualification Level 4, and HACCP Qualification.
