Job Description
The TA Associate, Clinical Laboratory Sciences will engage with study teams, business partners, and therapeutic partners to develop clinical laboratory strategies at the trial level.
This role coordinates vendor activities, facilitates research, and resolves clinical laboratory and diagnostic issues throughout the trial's lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Imaging TPO Strategy and Oversight
o Collaborate with business partners and TPOs to develop capabilities matching business needs.
o Develop innovative clinical trial approaches related to quality, financial, and operational efficiency.
2. Internal and External Engagement
o Collaborate with internal business partners regarding device best practices.
o Study-level project management, including start-up, maintenance, data lock, and closeout.
o Establish vendor contracts and review documents.
o Partner with Global Business Services centers on device tracking or other study maintenance tasks.
3. People Development
o Participate in performance management and model core values and behaviours.
o Provide peer coaching within the organization, fostering inclusion and innovation.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a science or related life sciences field.
* Prior experience in pharma, diagnostics, or CRO environment.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
* Demonstrated knowledge of the technical area covered by this position (e.g., ECG, Imaging, genomics, safety labs, etc.).
* Experience in clinical research or a closely related field.
* Solid knowledge of global internal, external, and regulatory requirements for connected devices.
* Demonstrated skill and experience in managing alliances with outside partners.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence across functional areas and regional geographies and culture.
