Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including implementing and managing HR policies and procedures. The role involves driving initiatives to foster a positive work environment and support company objectives.
The Role
1. Develop and Drive HR Strategies: Work closely with the Programme and People Director to develop and drive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
2. Lead and Manage HR Functions: Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
3. Support Business Performance: As a member of the operations team, work collaboratively with the leadership team to support business performance.
4. Collaborate with Department Heads: Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment and retention strategies.
5. Provide HR Advice and Support: Provide timely and accurate HR advice and support to management and staff in relation to all aspects of employee relations and staff training.
6. Develop Performance Management Systems: Develop performance management systems to track employee performance, provide feedback, and support career development.
7. Conduct Performance Reviews: Assist and guide managers in conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews with employees.
8. Deliver Training Programmes: Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
9. Foster a Positive Workplace Culture: Handle employee relations issues and disciplinary procedures promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
10. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
11. Oversee Employee Communications: Oversee updates of employee handbooks and staff communications.
12. Maintain Payroll Processing Timelines: Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and adherence of timelines for monthly payroll processing.
