We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of production at our clients state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive efficiency, quality, safety and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals.
* Operations & Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage the operations team, ensuring an optimized organizational structure and a robust people management system.
* Site Leadership: Play a key role in the site leadership team, contributing to site-wide projects and initiatives.
* Production Performance: Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning to maximize efficiency.
* Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing improvement measures as needed.
* Safety & Risk Management: Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce robust safety programs.
* Inventory & Cost Control: Optimize inventory levels, manage budgets, and drive cost-effective operations.
* Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to achieve business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
* 10+ years of experience in Operations Management within a high volume/highly automated manufacturing environment.
* Strong background in world-class manufacturing environments, utilizing TPM, Six Sigma, and SAP.
* Expertise in injection moulding, automated assembly equipment and packaging machinery is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of utility operations (compressors, chillers, dust extraction) is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with Quality processes such as Process Control, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Validation.
* Proven leadership experience, with a track record of driving performance and cultural change.
* Continuous Improvement mindset (CI certification desirable).
* Degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
