Job Description
The main responsibilities for the Sample Registration Officer include registering patient specimens onto the Laboratory Information Management Systems, ensuring demographics on the forms match the specimens, and managing any discrepancies/queries through the Supervisors, Laboratory Services Manager, Medical Director, or Client Services as required. Duties will also include controlling minimum stock for the Pre-Analytics Department.
Training and Development: Support will be given to help your progression within the organization.
Hours of Work: 39 Hours per week 14:00 - 22:30 (Late shift)
Qualifications
Education:
1. Leaving Certificate or Equivalent
Experience:
1. Data inputting/good typing skills desirable
2. Experience in Medical Terminology is an advantage
Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent administration skills
2. Attention to detail
3. Can-do attitude willing to go the extra mile to resolve all issues
4. Experience in customer care
5. Proven problem solver
Candidates must be authorized to work full-time within Ireland.
