Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrator to manage and support the day-to-day administrative operations for a client. The ideal candidate will work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies. Update and track stock entries in warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that all shipping documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Input and update information related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory in relevant systems. Ensure all data is accurate and entered in a timely manner.
* Prepare and maintain reports on stock levels, order fulfillment, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist in generating regular and ad-hoc reports as requested.
* Support coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with transport companies and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
* Act as a liaison between warehouse teams, procurement, and customer service to resolve issues, track shipments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
* Ensure adherence to warehouse safety procedures and compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of safety checks and equipment maintenance.
* Provide administrative support to the warehouse manager, including scheduling, filing, and maintaining an organized office space.
* Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to shipments, inventory counts, or order processing. Communicate issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other data entry software.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: Estimated $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
