Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead our innovative electrical team in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you will guide and expand a talented team of electrical engineers and designers dedicated to creating life-changing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Team Development: Guide a small team, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the team's professional development.
* Project Management: Oversee the entire design process, act as a technical expert, and collaborate with Project Managers to define project scope, budget, and staffing needs.
* Planning & Scheduling: Forecast work 12-16 weeks ahead, develop construction schedules, and manage resource allocation for multiple projects.
* Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in design and production, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
* Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction through regular communication and high-quality project delivery.
* Technical Expertise: Research design options, write electrical design scopes, prepare engineering studies, and create detailed schematic designs.
* Compliance & Coordination: Ensure designs meet local codes and standards, estimate project costs, review contractor applications, and coordinate documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
* Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
* Experience with design of building electrical systems, such as: building service, power distribution, generators, lighting, fire alarm, security, and other low voltage systems.
* Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, IBC, and other related building codes and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* 10 years+ of experience in electrical design.
* Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Nutraceutical, or Life Science industry experience.
* Experience with medium voltage systems, electrical hazardous classified areas, and telecommunications systems.
