Senior Quantity Surveyor - Dublin
A long-term contract role is available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the client side team on a large-scale capital improvement project based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
* Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of construction work.
* Negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and administer contractual agreements.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
* Provide accurate financial reporting and risk analysis.
* Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on large-scale capital improvement projects.
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and regulations.
* Proven expertise in contract management (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or similar).
* Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Excel, or similar).
