Location: Dublin Rd, Kilminchy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 HK11 Job Purpose : To transport clients as required in a responsible and safe manner maintaining the highest standard of driving, in accordance with a National Driving School and the Department of Environment competency examination.
Minimum Education & Experience required: Category Irish D1 Full Clean Driving licence Current valid Drivers CPC Card Disability awareness and experience of transporting passengers with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs is desirable.
Relevant Occupational experience A minimum of 2 years relevant driving experience Job Duties & Responsibilities Comply with the rules of the road at all times making sure that the passengers are all safely seated i.e.
by ensuring the use of seat belts and clamps.
Maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy manner always making sure it is in a clean and hygienic condition.
Ensure that the customer / client is satisfied.
Assisting the client on and off the vehicle using appropriate lifting techniques.
Additional requirements As part of our recruitment process, if applicable, candidates will be required to provide a Police certificate from the countries they have resided prior coming to Ireland.
