Job Title: Senior Buyer
Location: Roscommon (Hybrid with travel across Ireland and the UK)

A leading multinational hardware supplier and distributor is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its head office team in Roscommon. This hybrid role will manage group-wide purchasing activities across a hardware product portfolio, with an annual spend exceeding €10 million.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end sourcing of hardware products, including tendering, rate negotiation, supplier selection, and contract management.
* Manage purchasing requirements across multiple business units within the group.
* Source products and manage supplier relationships, with a strong focus on South East Asia.
* Negotiate commercial terms to ensure cost-effective, high-quality supply.
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.
* Conduct market and spend analysis to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
* Work cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and finance teams.
* Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals and performance reviews.
* Identify and implement continuous improvements in procurement processes.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior buying or strategic sourcing role, ideally within hardware or a related sector.
* Strong track record of sourcing from South East Asia.
* Proven ability to lead tender processes and manage high-value contracts.
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in procurement systems and data analysis.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Full driving licence and own car required.
* Flexibility to travel across Ireland and the UK as needed.
This is a key role with scope to influence procurement strategy and supplier performance across the business.
