Job Description - Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance Business Operations Lead
We are seeking a Business Operations Lead to support the overall GRC Operations Lead with key operational activities within the Governance, Risk and Compliance framework.
This role will play a vital part in ensuring that the organization's GRC processes are effectively implemented, monitored, and maintained to support business objectives.
The GRC Ops Business Operations Lead will assist with daily operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the business.
About the Cybersecurity GRC Team
The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our cybersecurity activity at State Street.
The function ensures that State Street aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance. It operates through three core pillars; Governance, Risk, and Compliance supported by ongoing monitoring, reporting, and improvement.
As a member of the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity to make a difference on the team, within the cybersecurity organization, as well as State Street overall.
What you will be responsible for
1. Establishing an operating rhythm that aligns with monthly reporting requirements.
2. Managing day-to-day GRC operational activities.
3. Developing and managing operations budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
4. Utilizing Excel skills to model financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
5. Monitoring and controlling operational costs and identifying opportunities for productivity gains.
6. Managing the resource process across GCS on behalf of the GRC function.
7. Creating presentations and materials needed for All Hands Calls and Townhalls.
8. Preparing reports on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and any operational project status.
9. Process Improvement initiatives - establishing improvements to increase productivity/efficiency gains across the GRC team.
10. Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and RACI Matrices.
11. Coordinating with the GRC leadership team to forecast and fulfill resource needs.
12. Maintaining strong relationships with the GRC functional leads to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives.
13. Reacting promptly to requests for input from various COO functions.
14. Providing comprehensive support to the COO team in operational matters.

5. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
6. Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
