Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Estimate the size of the Irish market and update this assessment annually.
* Create a live intelligence database to track future projects, tenderers, ongoing projects, estimated values, and project timelines. This database should be updated on a monthly basis.
* Establish relationships with existing and new clients through regular communication.
* Maintain a presence in the field by making sales visits to gather information, secure sales orders, and solicit new quotation enquiries.
* Develop working relationships with County Councils and Irish Water.
* Deliver technical presentations as required.
* Promote brand awareness among consulting engineers operating in the water sector.
* Evaluate and accurately cost all materials and labor for each project.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective clients prior to accepting sales orders.
* Oversee the management of the company's LinkedIn page.
* Collaborate with external technical partners as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years of sales experience focused on the utilities, consultants, and state agencies sectors.
* Holding a relevant qualification in engineering, fabrication, or a similar field.
* Strong contract negotiation skills.
* The ability to effectively interact with various internal resources.
