Eir evo talent have partnered with a leading BioPharma organisation in Waterford, in the search for an experienced engineer to lead an exciting Carbon Reduction and Energy Efficiency project. The experienced Project Lead will have an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to plan and deliver a multi-million Euro project on site, delivering on significant energy and carbon reduction targets.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver on Heat pump Central Utilities building and utilities upgrade.
* Perform procurement, acceptance of equipment & associated infrastructure and report regularly on project status throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety codes practices, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications are maintained.
* Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right first-time project deployment.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project goals, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
* Support to other project participants to overcome obstacles when they present themselves.
* Responsible for delivering performance metrics for budget, schedule, scope, and quality adherence.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a project management role.
* Detailed knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
* Exemplary communication, dedication, and keen focus on delivering key success factors within the role.
* Masters an advantage.
