What Is This Position
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will provide technical support related to equipment used in manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment. You will monitor machine output during shifts to ensure all cells operate within cycle times to meet specific targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Install and validate equipment
2. Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults
3. Perform skilled maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
4. Lead maintenance and process issue resolution
5. Interpret blueprints and schematics
6. Certify and train manufacturing associates in production processes
7. Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues
How Does This Role Fit Into The Organisation
You will report to a Process Engineering Manager within a team of approximately 20, including process engineers and manufacturing technicians.
What We’re Looking For
1. Minimum Level 6 qualification (Trade or Third-level equivalent)
2. Electrical and mechanical skills are preferred
3. Technical and fault-finding skills
