Job Title: Access to Care Advisor
UPMC Whitfield Hospital is recruiting an Access to Care Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of an integrated team across our UPMC healthcare services that simplifies Access to Care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in the Radiology Department and support hospital Admissions and Outpatients as required.
* Admit all patients in a timely and courteous manner.
* Handle cash transactions and perform end-of-day balancing.
* Manage queries with the wider team and multitask in a demanding role.
* Liaise with other teams to ensure safe handling of records.
Requirements:
* 12 months experience in a similar role or healthcare setting.
* Business/Secretarial Qualification.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience of healthcare systems, including iPims, is desirable.
