About the role: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the ESPA Spa Café. Service guests, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. Assist in the maintenance of the outlet area and equipment. Achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that Spa Café guests have a pleasant experience. It is these qualities that require your commitment and will set us apart at being a most unforgettable and successful hotel. Duties& Responsibility Ensure hotel and spa standards are maintained. Co-ordinate and close the ESPA members breakfast from 8am. Deliver breakfast and lunch service standards to guests and Members. Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in food preparation and service areas. Monitor equipment and stock levels. Upsell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations. Monitor the café cash flow, follow proper cash handling protocol and settling outstanding bills. Promote/Upsell food items in Spa Café. Promote the best possible experience for our guests and ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure that all checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift. Learn and utilize the current Point of Sales system, Lightspeed. Train, guide, and coach team members Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
